Boca River

Boca River was formed from the ashes of Verbal Kint’s separation in 2013. A quartet based out of Rennes (Brittany, France) is named after the two historical rival gangs of Buenos Aires, Boca and River.
Boca River evokes Verve, Spacemen 3, Brian Jonestown Massacre’s Methodrone or Drop Nineteens. In the superclasico-like mini album Away, Boca River manage to blend almost incompatible styles. One part is elegant and dreamy pop full of melody and on the another comes from a true love for noisy mischief and shoegaze. The result is a perfectly cohesive six track album.
