Home Is Where The Heart Is

RELEASE

November 17, 2017

Since 2009, Seventeen At This Time has cultivated an image of a group that is both private and public. After two albums and an EP released on Cranes Records between 2012 and 2015, the group will be unveiling its new album : Home is Where the Heart is.

Crafted with great care, their new album signals a farewell. It visits the remaining space inhabited by haunting music, diving even further into the darkness that emerged from their previous LP, Flaming Creatures. Chasing down the fleeting shadows of John Balance and Robert Smith. Split into two, the album is composed of an A side, in English, a veritable love letter to the industrial music of Coil and bands such as Einsturzende Neubauten, and a B side with a big nod to a forgotten, brooding French pop that Hubert Félix Thiéfaine would not disown.

The album will be released in three special editions : 150 copies of the 12” vinyl, 30 copies of the audio tape (double casing), and 5 copies of a boxed collector’s edition, containing a vinyl LP, an audio tape, a CD and a badge. The LP jacket has been conceived as a pressed flower; a gypsophila has been affixed to the cover and is protected by a transparent sleeve. The tape, the cd and the badge have been designed with the same flowers.
